Revered across cultures for millennia, Rosa spp. — Rose Petals — hold a unique place in human history as both supreme symbol and supreme medicine. Ancient Egyptians placed rose petals in royal tombs; Persian physicians including Avicenna documented rose’s medicinal virtues in the 10th century; and Ayurvedic practitioners have used Rosa damascena for heart, mind, and skin medicine for thousands of years. Our organic petals are a vibrant blend of pink and red roses, harvested at peak bloom and carefully dried to preserve their fragrance and bioactive compounds.
Rose petals are most celebrated for their profound affinity with the heart — both physically and emotionally. They are traditionally used to support emotional well-being, ease grief and heartache, cool inflammation, and promote healthy skin from the inside out. Their abundant flavonoids, particularly quercetin and kaempferol, provide antioxidant protection, and rose’s gentle astringency supports digestive tone and gut health. Rose petals are also naturally antimicrobial and have been used in traditional formulations for skin and respiratory health. In nearly every spiritual tradition on earth, the rose is the supreme symbol of love, devotion, and the opening heart — used in meditation, offerings, ritual baths, and love magic across cultures from ancient Rome to West African Orisha practice.
Rose petals create a profoundly beautiful heart-opening blend with Lavender, Lemon Balm, and Egyptian Chamomile — a deeply soothing, emotionally nourishing tea perfect for stress, grief, self-care rituals, and evening unwinding.
Rose petals are exceptionally safe and gentle for most people. Those with known rose or Rosaceae family allergies should use with caution. As always, consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before use, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking medications.
